WHAT IS AN EXAMINATION BODY?
Examination Bodies will set, conduct, manage and record the results of Regulatory examinations.

The Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 37 of 2002, (“the FAIS Act”), came into effect on 30 September 2004. The objective of the FAIS Act is to:
1. Protect consumers, and
2. Professionalise the financial services industry.
